#5 out of the Brouwerij van Steenberge 6-pack sampler is Augustijn Blond Belgisch Kloosterbier. The flavor profile is quite mild compared to the others, almost meadlike with its honey tone, yet it's still 9% ABV. You could knock down a gallon of this if you didn't know better! #BeerSky #BskyBeer

I love Earl Grey tea & I love this beer. 😋 Sorted. Marble Brewery's "Earl Grey IPA" from Manchester. I'd have preferred a bit more of a Bergamot hit, but not complaining. A very good IPA: potent & hoppy. 👍

A suitable way to toast the curlers for #notbeerbods with this year's Society For The Encouragement Of Virtue a rum barrel aged Imperial Stout from Round Corner Brewing , at only 10% slightly lower abv than the 2025 edition which was 12% I think. Definitely a sipping brew. #bskybeer 🥌🥌🥌🥌

Staying with Marble in Manchester. As a self-confessed Eccles-Cake-Aholic, I had to try this beer. Plenty of vine fruit notes, but that special "Currant note" is hard to spot; if anything this is actually sweeter than a real Eccles Cake..? - which I'm not sure is a good thing.

Andrew's experimenting with a GF diet so he's decided we'll have a GF tap takeover. Happily loads of breweries are now making GF beer so we're spoilt for choice.

Full of NZ hops : Nelson Riwaka and Motuekea
Flavours: apricot orange lemon and lime
All on a nice oaty background.
Sharp crisp finish
