And today I heard Blume Popo’s first full album. It’s not your regular j-pop, no idol band here. They tag themselves post pop. And they have tracks that do interesting things and some that feel more regularly pop-y. I like the former best. #musicsky #jpop #postpop

Another win for the algorithms, recommended Shaking Hand to me and they’re not wrong. Post rock influences, they tag themselves Northwest Emo, but don’t know about that. Great debut though.

Traumatismo Nacional’s noise rock is loud and driven as you’d expect. It never loses its energy but feels finely crafted beyond the noise. Liked this a lot.
