Every time I hear people pining for Blockbuster and other video rental stores I want to yell from the rooftops "LIBRARIES!! LIBRARIES ARE WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING FOR AND THEY STILL EXIST!"

Also, even if you're not gonna use it, consider getting a library card. It helps.

Is it possible that the single greatest change in 21st century filmmaking isn’t streaming but…drones? The moving aerial shots that used to require a helicopter are now available at almost any budget. A massive upgrade to visual storytelling.

This composition had eluded me for nearly a decade, but yesterday I was finally able to capture it. A train rolled through just as the Duquesne Incline was crossing over the tracks in #Pittsburgh, creating a picture perfect winter scene. It was worth the hours and hours I've waited over the years.
