really hard to overstate just how much of an impact Howl's Moving Castle had on my relationship with anime, and tbh movies in general. so much lore about this world is conveyed in so few words, it was the first film I'd watch over and over again to dissect what it all meant

picked up Absolum after it popped up on a few GOTY lists, and yes the art is beautiful and the combat is refreshing for a beat-em-up, but also it has cool dwarven lore so it's a masterpiece in my book
