If there's anything I've learned from being a complete dweeb about human evolution it's that it's kind of miraculous we do what we do so well considering the pieces evolution had to work with. Which is to say: We're not really the perfect shape for any given task.
The insistence on making these robots bipedal is probably the most obvious giveaway that it's all a big carny gimmick
