There are families in -developed countries- that have to choose between having a warm house or being able to cook food.
I grew up in one of those families. I learned to not ask what the meat I was eating was.

The fact that we have people in the world who can reasonably afford to solve world hunger for a fraction of the sum of their wealth, but let families starve and freeze, fucking sickens me.
