And will the English Whisky Association be HQ in another country, and send their tax revenue to that “other” country?

Or is that just a “privilege” reserved for Scotland, as a benefit of the “Union”.

No double standards here, no to see, move along.

We are coming towards the end of Unionism in Scotland. It is clear that the Labour has nothing to offer Scotland but the theft of its resources and the tightening of the noose around the neck. Time to start the Big Push to return Independence and renew the nation for a better life for all.

To Labour voters in Scotland:
Scotland produced the second highest amount of oil in N.
West Europe (behind Norway).
Belgium produced zero oil.
Scotland’s only oil refinery is closing.
Belgium has 4 oil refineries and the Labour Gov are paying them £600m to open a 5th.

It is obvious the Westminster government are trying to screw Scotland.

3 Minute Read.

For years, one of the main arguments against Scottish independence has been that Scotland is "too wee, too poor" to go it alone.

But what if the reality is the opposite.

What if it’s actually England that can’t afford to lose Scotland?

According to the Scotch whisky association, from today, the total tax take on every bottle of Scotch whisky sold in the U.K. is at least £12.
Then there is Scottish salmon, oil and gas from Scottish waters and electricity from hydro and onshore wind in Scotland.
What is England contributing?

The question for opponents of independence is if the Union is so great, how has a country as rich in resources as Scotland supposedly ended up dependent on a fiscal transfer from England to pay for basic public services & living standards inferior to those of comparable European nations?

Many in the UK want to rejoin the EU. But the U.K. can’t take that decision unilaterally, the EU has to agree to let the U.K. join. Part of the criteria to join the EU is to adopt the euro.
That ends the currency argument for unionists.
Westminster won’t allow rejoining the EU.
