Voting is no match for the power of Zionism in the Global North.
More criminality for Zionism and its constant threats and bullying.

Also, Gord Downie's daughter, Willo, is absolutely stunning.

The child & I finished watching the 4-part docuseries on the Tragically Hip. We spent the final episode crying, wiping our eyes, blowing our noses, sniffling. It was the best of times; it was the worst of times.

I find Katsuji no less annoying than he was on Top Chef. I hope he loses. #TournamentOfChampions7

Taking full advantage of our free Amazon Prime subscription. I've been watching Fringe again (third time in the past year) and am now watching a docuseries on The Tragically Hip. I haven't cried yet.

"There is little evidence that Carney recognizes the extent to which our public programs and services have already been decimated by downsizing, privatization and business models that define—and dramatically narrow—the role of governments."

Carney in Davos: Neoliberalism in a nicer suit - CCPA
Carney’s identified the hypocrisy underlying the rules based order, but his government has shown little interest in pursuing solutions

Macaulay Culkin's comments about Catherine O'Hara brought me to tears. We lost one of the truly great comic geniuses of our time. Or any time. From SCTV to Home Alone to Schitt's Creek, she was always brilliant.

So, Israel kills members of the fourth estate, but the US just arrests them. It's clear that both want to obfuscate. Everything, really.

First, I agree with Doug Ford & now, Jesse Ventura. I think someone in Minnesota should contact Canada to request joining us.

When police in Canada assault, beat, remove an hijab and hike up a woman's skirt, I'm reminded that we are not better than Americans. A black, Muslim woman, a lawyer, was assaulted by Durham police. Shame on us all.

Not a fan of the Baldwins, but criticising a mom for taking her well-bundled kids on a 9 block walk, stopping partway through to get books, before getting their haircut. Yes, it was during a snowstorm. This is nothing. Growing up, I don't recall a single snow day. I went to school when it was -40°C

I just made a roasted red pepper, roasted tomato, roasted onion and roasted garlic soup and it's absolutely glorious.

I'm watching a repeat of Beat Bobby Flay. Marcel Vigneron is going up against him. But I swear if it turns out that Cliff Crooks is one of the three judges, I will be seriously pissed.

Is Karoline Leavitt perpetually stoned on LSD? How can she speak so much drivel about the orange cretin, as if he's some kind of saint?

We really can't. Wait, that is. We do, indeed, need to oust her & the UCP, if we ever hope to continue to get the services we need and pay for in taxes. We pay taxes for these services. I can't imagine the government cutting taxes (to the working & middle classes).
We need to oust her now.

We cannot wait until 2027.
Smith finally said it out loud...

She doesn't believe that government should be providing any services to Albertans, she believes that private companies should be used universally to provide services.

Faith groups should take care of the vulnerable.

So, Australia. 4 shark attacks in a 48-hour period, a woman dies on a beach surrounded by dingoes & a woman wakes up with a python coiled up on her stomach. This doesn't make me want to visit you.

My daughter has asked me to stop watching a certain TV show for a bit. She keeps suggesting I rematch Fringe, which I watched twice last year and myriad times before that. I always forget how cold Broyles is to Olivia in the early episodes, especially considering how close they were in season 5.

I can tell I'm in a lot of pain today, because nothing is holding my attention. Games, bsky, news, TV shows. Nothing.

I'm on day 4 of a migraine. Today, it feels like there's a sword in the middle of my forehead and another going through my temples.

Why on earth would countries pay the US 1 billion dollars to join the orange cretins "Board of Peace" when the US no longer respects international law, human rights or even rights detailed in the US constitution?

It's been a chaotic time to be an artist. Now that Canada has a trade agreement with China, it's only a matter of time before Trump ends free trade.

If you're American and been eyeing a piece, now's probably the time.

I know times are tough, but if you could help with a share, it'd mean so much.

So, Stephen Miller and Elon Musk are so upset about the diverse cast on the new Star Trek series that at least one of them wants the production company to hand over control to William Shatner, a Canadian Jew.

I went to grab some acetaminophen. Some of the last pills of the huge bottle we got from Costco. They were green. Medications can get mouldy?

Not even Ryan Gosling can get me to watch Star Wars. And I watched The Notebook for him. Granted, I fast-forwarded through all the "current" scenes. But still. The Notebook. What Nicholas Sparks has done to the written word is abbhorrent. (I can't call his books literature, because it's not).
