Oh, Kody & Robyn, cry me a fucking river. If he wanted a relationship with his kids, he needs to understand why they feel estranged from him. But that would mean putting his ego to the side & be willing to listen & be vulnerable. Not going to happen. #SisterWives

I get that Claire Danes is probably best known for Homeland, but there are some among us who will forever associate her with the role of Angela Chase in My So-Called Life.

One thing I love about #Bones is Hodgins' admiration and respect for Brennan. It doesn't matter that she's a woman in a scientific field, that he has as many doctorates as her, he unequivocally supports and holds her in high esteem.

I miss #911LoneStar. #911Nashville is thoroughly unwatchable. The male lead is beyond bland. I wouldn't follow him into a 7-Eleven, let alone a fire. But #911LoneStar had characters that felt distinct from one another, that you cared about.

Wow. Debra Messing is a raging Islamophobe. Who knew? (Everyone. Everyone knew.)

Who are these women who find Kody attractive? I mean, as soon as he opens his mouth, he's easily one of the most vile & repugnant men on earth. #SisterWives

I made a vegan cottage pie. Cottage, because I used veggie ground round, which is like a beef mince. It's good. I obviously tweaked the recipe, adding mushroom, paprika, a little bit of red chili flakes, some soy sauce, tomato paste, veggie bouillon.

I liked both #911 & #911LoneStar from the onset. I knew the characters' names from the pilot episode. #911Nashville lacks the humanity of the other shows. And I only know some characters' names.

Prince Andrew should be turned out onto the streets, not living in taxpayer subsidised housing. Actually, no royal should live in taxpayer funded/subsidised housing.

#Guy'sRanchKitchen I would like to disabuse any chefs participating in vegetarian/vegan themed dinners that fish sauce is vegetarian. It isn't. Fish are animals. A sauce made from fermented fish is an animal product. Stop trying to pretend that it's vegetarian-friendly.

I woke up this morning feeling okay-ish. But then, the migraine came back in full force. A blinding migraine. I'm not sure if it's the pain or the nausea that's keeping me awake. Probably both. Also, I'm weirdly hungry in spite of the nausea. Do I actually want to eat something? No. Decidedly not.

God, I love Anthony Bourdain, but when I was little, I objected to meat that is pink/red in the middle. I hated going to steakhouses, because invariably, I was the one ordering the steak medium well/well done. I hated when my mom made pot roast, because she cooked it to medium. I swear I'm not a

The other day, my daughter made tater tots and I remarked that it was weird eating tater tots with ketchup, because I'd normally only get tater tots from Taco Time. So, the next day, she went out and got enchilada sauce. It's not exactly the same, but it's close enough.

Jumping around Top Chef seasons. I watched season 8 and am now watching season 6. Way too much Mike Isabella. His "a girl can't cook/do as well as me" line makes me want to smack him. But I understand that his life choices have smacked him in much bigger ways than I could imagined.

I'm rewatching season 7 of #TopChef and so many of these chefs don't know Ethiopian food. It premired in 2010. I've lived in Edmonton, AB since the 90s and have frequently had Ethiopian food. I make mesir wot a lot. It was frequently requested for potlucks at work.

This is equally shameful and horrific. I read #TheHandmaidsTale as my "free" book in English 20. I read #TheColorPurple when I was 16. I read #TheHouseoftheSpirits as a young adult. These books should be read by young minds. ca.news.yahoo.com/handmaids-ta...

I have generally had tasty food at Famoso, but their caprese salad isn't good, tasty or even a caprese salad. I can't believe I paid as much as I did on this dish.

I wonder if #TopChef will ever do a vegan or plant-based season with vegan chefs.

Doctors Without Borders just released a devastating report on Gaza. People are being starved, shot, and bombed while waiting in line for food — and the world keeps calling it humanitarian aid.

Also, I really want pierogies (potato and onion), but I'm not having pierogies. I'm sad about it.

I have a migraine. (I know. Shocking!) It's like there's both a sword and dagger going through my right eye. The nausea is intense and extremely painful.

Rewatching #TopChef season 15 again. It's so fantastic seeing #FatimaAli. But I forgot how much I absolutely hated Claudette. She's so selfish, self-absorbed, entitled and ungracious.

Oh yes. It was a rotten fish that my mom didn't know was rotten that put me off fish/seafood/most seweed. I don't know if it was just the smell while it was cooking that made me ill or if it was tasting it that made me sick. But my mom insisted I was fine with eating fish before that, but not after.
A cool thing in food aversion is that humans are very, very good at learning to become disgusted by food that has sickened them. The ones who didn't, died before having kids.

You literally have hundreds of thousands of years of ancestors telling you to never eat sushi again after having bad sushi
