My sun Adrian appeared at the British Masters Track & Field Championships in Derby at the weekend. He ran in a 400 metres race….. and won. It was his first competitive race at this distance.
He is in the 5th lane in a yellow jersey.

Had surgery this morning at Poole Hospital, my appendix was removed. Was diagnosed in February 2023 at the same time as a heart attack so couldn't have it removed then. Feeling good now and no pain! Hope to go home tomorrow.

These 1930s photos of my mum Freda were taken by my dad Vic apart from the first one with a hat which was a professional shoot as she modelled hats. The accompanying song was written in 1932 by Ray Noble…Love Is The Sweetest Thing sung by Mary Hopkin
