That is good news. My wife and myself have both had colonoscopies in the last 2 or 3 years and fortunately they didn’t find anything sinister. However, they did say we both have diverticulitis which causes stomach/bowel issues which we do have. Has that been mentioned to you?

Saw Bill Wyman’s Rhythm Kings in 2006. Great entertainment. The band included the suberb guitarist Albert Lee,Georgie Fame, Andy Fairweather Low and guest singer Eddie Floyd.

As a teenager and in my early 20, 1 saw many amazing acts including The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, The Who, Cream, Chuck Berry, The Walker Bothers,Free, The Kinks, Fleetwood Mac, Ten Years After and The Animals etc etc

I actually met Alan Freeman at the BBC in the studio when he was broadcasting Pick Of The Pops one Sunday afternoon in the late 60s. Nice chap.

Also connections to Eel Pie Island. That was great venue for live music. Went there several times.

I agree with your selection Chris. If it had been Tim Hardin singing If I Were A Carpenter and the Four Seasons with I Can’t Get My Eyes Off You , I would have chosen them.

I had the NME delivered every week. I was still at school. I remember virtually all the songs in the chart.

Saw them play this great song at Richmond Athletic Club. No Stage, same level as the audience. We all sat on the floor!

You’re right. All in their eighties. The Seekers are my wife’s favourite group. We have seen them on two occasions. Judith Durham was a wonderful singer.
