I don't know the last time I listened to 40 minutes of our prime minister. I came away thinking Mark Carney is the right guy for the job. I cannot imagine any of the opposition leaders, Pierre Poilievre included, would be able to do what Canada needs right now.

The almanac had some forward-thinking advice for women in 1876, telling them to learn skills to avoid being dependent on finding a husband. “It is better to be a woman than a wife, and do not degrade your sex by making your whole existence turn on the pivot of matrimony”
