The part about this game that is going to get lost (perhaps rightly because Seattle won emphatically) is that the Patriots defense largely played really well. Gonzalez and Williams were studs, and Woodson had a great breakout game. They just didn't make as many high-impact plays as did Seattle.
I've seen a few clickbait posts on the Patriots having one of the worst performances in a Super Bowl... again, I think this underestimates how good the Seahawks were in 2025. By DVOA, the Patriots don't even come close.

Listened to @sammonson.bsky.social explain his Herbert vote. Disagree with his conclusion, and believe there is an inconsistency in his argument relative to his ballot, but he made a mostly valid case. And it didn't swing the total vote, so it's not a big deal.

This is not about policy. I have never cast a vote for either Trump or Obama. This is about the current president being an unabashed, unapologetic, seemingly proud racist. Disgusting and pathetic.
