Both groups desperately wanted to take photos with us but we declined....
My Super Bowl LX celeb story: @mikegiardi.bsky.social & I were standing near the entrance to the Pats’ locker room with about two minutes left. Jay-Z and his entourage walk right past us and end up hanging out for a few moments. Minutes later, Giannis strolls past. Long way from Foxborough.

Kubiak cooked the Pats on that opening drive of the 2nd half. Out of 12 personnel, hits slant to JSN when the Pats had just 3 DBs on the field. 17 yards. 3 plays later, they put JSN in the backfield, he gets a lot of eyes, but the call is a backside screen to Walker. 20 yards.

That defense of theirs did not care about Maye’s near MVP season, nor this team that came from the bottom and rose to the top of the AFC. No, what Seattle did was slowly, steadily, and systematically dismantle a Patriots offense that had no answers.

Maye was discombobulated almost from the jump. His feet were pitter-pattering and even some of his early completions - and there weren’t many - lacked the precision and accuracy that defined his regular season but helped define his postseason.

Thankful to be here again. My dad loves the game, I grew up in it, and it's never lost on me in these moments that I wouldn't be doing what I do if not for him.

Could Drake Maye see so more zero blitzes from the Seahawks? Small sample size, but he's completed just 42.9% of his passes for a skosh less than 4 yards per play.

Hard to fathom. Get a real bat, not Kiner-Falefa
Started digging in on a roster overview and the simple takeaway is it'll be flabbergasting if another sizeable move doesn't happen. The position player group mix feels so ill-fitting, don't love the lineup options, trickles down to a weird bench. Cora can do it, but this is hard mode for no reason.

So much of what the Patriots accomplished this season starts with the relationships that have been built, and not just this year.

From the Seahawks pool report. Nick Emmanwori got hurt today: "The rookie safety injured his ankle while defending a pass late in practice. He walked off the field on his own shortly before 4 p.m. Several players and coaches went over to comfort him before he left."
