I’ll be interested to see how this bill evolves. Green is in lockstep with Mayor Jones here and out of step with the board of Alders she has to pass this through. I think it’s probably 70% there which is a decent starting spot.

Threads was a massive own goal. The open hostility toward journalism and journalists who wanted an alternative to Twitter mixed with a wacky algorithm really proved to be its downfall.

And Bluesky’s emergence over the past month just proves how much of a failure Threads was in the end.
