Brewhouse lofts struck a deal to purchase some overflow Budweiser parking. Kept the parking requirements for the actual loft down and now some empty concrete gets foot traffic.

They also made vast swathes completely unwalkable. To this day, walking from Soulard to downtown is an uncomfortable, seemingly unsafe and unsightly experience, and it’s mostly due to I-55 passing over Broadway. It’s bad design, and we should be routing through-traffic to270/255.

MODOT designed the highway system that flows through St. Louis City. Odd that residents start flocking from the areas at the same as the highways getting built - they not only create noise and pollution, but they also make for quicker getaways for criminals.
