Rpgmaker.net coming back online is very significant, as a whole generation of 2000s and 2010s indie games was contextless and nearly lost without it.

like the only takes i've seen that i'd consider bad are ones that explicitly contradict canon or are just pure character hate. so when i see a new or unusual interpretation i go "huh! that's neat"

i'm realizing now that finding a bad take on a character is harder when you're of the opinion that most interpretations are worthwhile and interesting
