I've managed to pretty much remove amazon from any of my shopping but I can't find any alternative for sending stuff within Australia, from the UK. Anyone have any ideas? Australian online stores have always been difficult to use from the UK.

To make up for the afore mentioned disappointing venue change for January's gig, have just found out that Rival Consoles is playing Oslo the weekend we're there, so 2 gigs one trip (yet again cheaper than UK)

Don't want to sound like an old fogey, but I specifically booked a seated ticket for a gig/performance in January, just been emailed to say the venue has now been changed to one that is standing only :(

it’s not just about silencing excellent political coverage; it’s specifically about silencing political coverage of gender & reproductive rights issues, written by & for young women. From MAGAs perspective, Teen Vogue is the worst kind of meaningful journalism possible: the kind aimed at young women

Somewhat disappointed that one of the HP fanfic authors is being promoted at the book festival I'm going to in November, technically its the host organisation but they've been promoting it across both organisation's platforms and emailing attendees of both to "ask her a question"

Ok I am at a loss with this 🤷‍♀️ my cyanotypes just keep ‘washing out’, the image is there exposed on the paper and the second I rinse the image disappears - what is the most likely cause? 🧵 #worldcyanotypeday #cyanotype

If I have to explain to you why it's a bad idea to use a machine that makes shit up 15-80% of the time AND destroys the environment AND contributes to rising fascism and genocide AND puts brilliant skillful creatives out of work by stealing their work, then we're already speaking different languages

Why is trying to find a specific cycling route through oxford so difficult? used multiple sites this morning and all want to send me directly through the city centre 😮‍💨(FWIW I'm trying to find a route between South Parks Road area and St Clements that i'm sure I've been before but its not on a map)
