US Army Infantry veteran, now a special education teacher.

The infantry was far easier.

I gladly block thirst traps.
1/2 Things will get so, so much worse.

But I believe they will get better. I believe the moral arc of history bends towards justice because I believe that humans are more good than bad, that we love our families (our found families if not blood). I believe we love our children. I know I love mine.

Assuming our course is set and immutable, my hope is that, in the aftermath of the civil war we are almost certainly going to have, the survivors put together more responsive and more democratic institutions than what preceded them. In however many countries/sovereignties we eventually split into.

It should be legal and expected to sample a grape in a grocery store before committing to buying the whole bunch.

People can be very stupid. MAGA certainly more than most. But when you have government officials lying constantly about health matters like RFKjr and this other asshole in Florida expect this kind of thing to continue.

There are no raw milk benefits that even come close to outweighing the risks.

Trump may be immune to prosecution but his underlings are not. There are some major union-destroying actions that they are authorizing and gleefully undertaking.

These unlawful actions REQUIRE swift prosecution.

The so-called elites of America are actually parasites that are going to kill the host.

I’m actually shocked that Nancy Mace (!) was one of the Republicans who voted to subpoena the Epstein files. Usually anything she does is merely a manifestation of her deep mental illness.

The only assignment Dems have is to grind everything in Congress to a complete standstill. Congress must become and remain functionless for the next year and a half. Allow nothing through.

Nothing.

Go back to the NJ strip mall legal practice from whence you came
A panel of federal judges in New Jersey on Tuesday blocked Alina Habba from staying in the job as the state’s interim U.S. attorney and instead invoked a rarely used power to select a candidate of their own to take over as the state’s top federal prosecutor.

I think there’s just times when a cat does not want to be seen. And gets upset if you do see her, by sitting down with her back towards you, furiously licking a paw, with the ears completely rotated back towards you. Ain’t fooling anybody.

I can’t imagine a better system to encourage kids to not read anything. It’s bizarre and self defeating. lol as if books can cause cavities or obesity
July 13, 2025 at 5:42 PM
The GOP has an excellent opportunity right now to finally divest themselves of Donald Trump forever. There have to be at least some MAGAs who might think twice of vocally supporting a known pederast.

lol but of course they won’t

THIS MF BANKRUPTED A MF CASINO
Laid-off IRS employee said he had voted for Trump: "I thought that someone with his business acumen would have come in with a fine-tooth comb and actually found it instead of coming in with a wrecking ball and destroying people’s lives for no reason."

This fucking guy. No one in America wants him running except himself.
Rahm Emanuel sits down with [checks notes] George Will to test the waters for a possible 2K28 presidential run. That epitomizes the state of the Democratic Party on a national level these days. wapo.st/44DBxqw

The conservative ecosystem consists of con artists removing the wealth of their marks, and often the con artists are themselves the marks of other con artists. Just the most gullible rubes in existence.
Pretty awkward for Hugh Hewitt and Erick Erickson! I am sure they'll find another George Bailey to promote in no time.

Is anyone in government or the media keeping a list of all the impeachable offenses that Trump has committed in this term alone?
July 9, 2025 at 11:32 PM
Ain’t nothing stopping the leader of Brazil to crumple this into a tight little ball and practice his free throw skills into the circular file.

Shit doesn’t even merit a response.
The United States is seeking to steal the sovereignty of Brazil, there's really no other way to describe this. It's an effort to overthrow their domestic political institutions.

Foreign leaders will glance at the letter, have a quiet chuckle to themselves, ball it up and chuck it into the nearest circular file. Then they’ll continue their more serious negotiations with other countries and markets.
Q: Given the fact Trump put into effect the tariffs on April 2 then put the pause into place, is he at all concerned that these countries that are receiving the letters won't take them seriously bc the deadline has shifted already and may shift again?

LEAVITT: They will take the letters seriously

They have overstepped. They continue to overstep. They will overstep in the future. And then there will be a reckoning.
