Y'all gonna start acknowledging the parallels yet?

Y'all gonna start defending art, intimacy, and sex as basic human expressions?

Y'all gonna start realizing that these deranged puritans don't have an ounce of goodwill in their bodies and literally just want to control every aspect of our lives?

I really want to emphasize that this is a winnable fight, but everyone has to chip in in order to do so! Please dont sit it out expecting others to stand in your place!

And dont ignore local/state level stuff! As these state laws get overturned, the narrative behind the Fed ones lose steam!

Netchoice won their legal battle against Age verification in louisiana! This follows similar rulings in AK and OH!

This is huge!

These laws can be stopped, they can be overturned. Do not give in to dooming! Keep calling your reps and support orgs that fight these laws in court!

In a world without Section 230:

😩 Big Tech companies everyone hates would win. Giants like Meta and Google have armies of lawyers to navigate compliance

😩 Alternative platforms like Bluesky and Mastodon would likely shut down, along with Wikipedia, review sites, how-to resources, small forums, etc

According to Mullvad, the European commission is going to continue pushing for Chat Control. While they lost the battle over accessing end-to-end encrypted data, they want to try again. Now by going after VPNs.

While I can't find anything about this on fightchatcontrol.eu , do keep contacting reps

This year, I played Small Saga, and decided that the Scissor Maidens, Rosalie and Maisie, deserved some art.

I'm not an artist, so I want to give a huge thank you to @okaliz.bsky.social who took up my request to portray this duo. She did a fantastic job, and the pose idea is all hers.

Experts say we have months not years to organize the type of mass protest needed to avoid authoritarianism and fascist rule taking hold in the United States.

And what is Congress doing? Introducing a repeal of Section 230, the law that underpins all free speech on the Internet

- Rhode Island (Sen Whitehouse)
- Vermont (Sen Welch)
- Minnesota (Sen Klobuchar)

As both the House & Senate look to repeal Section 230, I'm curious who they think should be held liable for the comments they've left open on the Epstein photo dump...? Them? Dropbox?

Do they have a trust & safety team watching the comments?
absolutely wild move by @oversightdemocrats.house.gov to allow comments on the dropbox folder with the epstein photos

If you're in Oregon, please call these three folks and ask them to 1) Protect Section 230 and 2) Oppose KOSA, SCREEN, and other internet bills. Tell them the bills aren't well thought out even if they sound good on paper to these reps.

Don't forget to put your name, zip code, and city!
By the by, both Oregon senators almost never have a real person pick up are mostly a message box so if you're got phone anxiety they are REALLY EASY to call. PLEASE CALL THEM. Ask them to protect Section 230 and oppose Kosa. ESPECIALLY SUZANNE who keeps giving me a canned email response about it.
