A confounding mess of humanity just surviving and vibing. Loves music, the San Antonio Spurs, Minnesota Vikings, Aston Villa FC, other assorted odds and ends. Leftist socialist ally intolerant of intolerance. Love is love.
I sincerely hope that if you're LGBTQIA+ that you live in the following states. The next few years are going to be a near train wreck, but if you live in these states at least you'll have a protective bubble surrounding you.

I found this on r/LeopardsAteMyFace under the heading of "All We Wanted Was to Constantly Attack Biden, Harris, and the Democrats! Not Give Trump the Presidency!"

Leopards, meet face.

In case you were wondering why Donald is stocking his cabinet with wildly unqualified people with heads full of dangerous and destructive ideas, Project 2025 is all about sabotaging government and this is his objective:

My late mom knew someone who was selling off cheap computers he got from a "business closing" sale, so she got me one. I had just entered my teen years, and the guy installed Windows 3.1 on the PC. It didn't have speakers, couldn't play audio or video. I'm old.

So happy Toomaj Salehi has been released!! He = total hero
We welcome the news that Iranian rapper #ToomajSalehi has been released from prison. Toomaj is a brave and brilliant person who should never have been imprisoned to begin with. We’ve been proud to support him since his arrest: www.iranintl.com/en/202412010...

From an uncharacteristically warm autumn to a sudden plunge into winter over the course of the last week or so... yup, it's Minnesota all right. This is a terrible photo of me with my hair all in a mess, wearing a nice, warm coat while waiting for a prescription refill at my pharmacy:

This just made me tear up in laughter IRL
Back before I was old enough to drive, I was playing Joy Division on the car CD player while my mom drove me somewhere. When she picked me up to bring me back home later and I asked if I could put on some music, she said "As long as it's not The Happiness Club again..."
Using this as a start: what are your favorite examples of unconscious/unforced dad-or-mom shade about your musical tastes? Just something said immediately or off the cuff. Spill all your secrets!

There’s a sort of Trump apologist, a relatively small but loud subset, who probably don’t realize or intend to be, but are so attached to a previous hyperbolic claim that they deny anything important changed.

-US was already an oligarchy
-US was already fascist
-Biden gave Israel a blank check

Trump's team is in "preliminary discussions about making significant changes to Medicaid, food stamps & other federal safety net programs to offset the enormous cost of extending Trump’s 2017 tax cuts next year.”

Medicaid, food stamps are now on the chopping block to fund tax cuts for billionaires.

#KOSA supporters have refused to listen to LGBTQ youth for years.

Now they're renewing their push for this dangerous legislation, even though we know it will be used by the incoming Trump admin to attack the most vulnerable.

Make sure ppl know the truth about this bill

This Bill Purports to Protect Kids from Big Tech. For LGBTQ+ Youth, It’s a Grave Danger
Those on the right have said they will use KOSA to target queer and trans content. So why do some Democrats support it?

Another block list to engage. If you don't know who Kiwi Farms are, they basically dox innocent people because they can't stand anyone living as their true selves. Don't reward them.

New block list to engage; don't let these people's voices go past their own intolerant echo chamber. Well-vetted list, zero accidental entries.

Not completely deleting my account because I don't want it taken over by some reich-winger, but this is still a pretty good sayonara to the hell site.

The elation I feel about having been able to escape that hell hole is indescribable. Minnesota may still be in the States, but at least it's got such a titanium encasing of DFL politics that it should prove to be a safe zone from all the insanity.
HB1123, a new prefiled bill in Texas would require chromosomal testing to play in school sports.

Every kid would need to be genetically tested to play.

I’m saying it. Knowingly voting for someone who is supported by white supremacy and sympathizes with the Nazi party makes them advocates for it by association. Truth has no obligation to be gentle.

What disappoints me most about his supporters is that their entire platform is about HURTING others.

Taking away rights.

Taking away benefits.

Taking away a path to citizenship.

It’s a platform based on cruelty.

They hate their lives and prefer if everyone suffered rather than solving it.

Sad.

So by the ever increasing number of messages I appear to have each time I check up on this site, I'm seeing that my old tweets are slowly being migrated here, including a bunch of embarrassing content from when I was younger and dumber. But this is good. It means I'm better than I used to be.

This is what happens when people don't take the time to grow up and learn important truths about themselves before becoming parents: you get total asswipes such as this subhuman, raising another generation of immature bullies.
classy stuff at the latest school board meeting in my hometown of Forest Lake, Minnesota (the same town Pete Hegseth is from)

Requisite political post: nominating Robert Kennedy, Jr., to any post overseeing the nation's health directives would be like getting Jeffrey Epstein to babysit your preteen daughter or going on a date with Rodney Alcala. Or trusting anything Cheeto Mussolini says, come to think of it.
