So is my female last author/male first author paper currently out for review like the cat with toast and jam strapped to its back, spinning endlessly between ā€œreview slowlyā€ and ā€œreview quickerā€? šŸ¤ÆšŸ™€šŸ“–
#Women are underrepresented in academia, especially in #STEMM fields, top institutions & in senior positions. Analysis of millions of biomed & life science articles reveal that female-authored articles spend longer under review than comparable male-authored ones @plosbiology.org 🧪 plos.io/4658FZN

Delete Spotify
In April 2024, Spotify implemented a new scheme: songs with less than 1k streams per year would no longer receive royalties.

The data for 2025 was just released via Luminate, and 88% of songs have been demonetized.

Read it again: 88% of songs on Spotify have been demonetized.

I think it's more likely it'll be hard to buy good quality home appliances without 'smart features'. Dumb models will be ones where they're cutting the manufacturing costs to the absolute minimum e.g. fewer buttons, features, or displays.

...and then they charge you a subscription to be ad free.

Have you ever heard that women have more chances than men of getting grants or positions in academia? Of course you have, and here are my personal views on this. With the shocking revelation that no, it is NOT TRUEĀ ! (1/n)
