I have to thank @booksinthefreezer.bsky.social for recommending The Last Days of Jack Sparks on the podcast(more then once). I'm about halfway through and this book just ticks all of the boxes for me! Not sure I would have found it otherwise

There are so many things to celebrate including the fact that we flipped our local school board! The previous board was focused on ridiculous library book review policies and not letting students speak in meetings and the people showed up

Thank you PA 🖤

I joined Stephanie for the Books in the Freezer Podcast.

People often talk about whether they “like” a main character. Well, we talked about some of the worst, least likable characters you can find in some books.

We talked about assholes in fiction.

It was a lot of fun.
NEW EPISODE!
I was joined by @victorlavalle.bsky.social to talk about books with awful main characters, his upcoming AMC adaptation of the Devil in Silver and more
