"They say they're coming to save us from some evil? They're talking about our neighbors who take care of us ... Alex was murdered while he was helping. Mr Rogers said look for the helpers, & right now the helpers have a target on our forehead ... Mr Rogers would be here right now too, so I'm here."

Idk man if you’re a journalist working for a news outlet right now and you are echoing words like “protestor” or using the power of your organization to repeat the govt’s explanation as true I think you’re bad at your job and you should quit

Everyone in texas would much rather be over prepared and “over reacting” to this feeeze. We would LOVE it, because then people would be safe. But we freak out because of a flavor of PTSD, as well as not wanting what happened last time to happen again.

Transphobia is a cancer of the heart and mind.

It is a useless fear, based on ignorance and cruelty.

Trans people are not responsible for a single one of the problems we face.

Do the world a favor and grow the fuck up.

FWIW, if George Washington had hypothetically won a Nobel Peace Prize while in office, he most likely would have declined it because he was allergic to personal glorification and he was very sensitive about the optics of foreign influence.

We need more Presidents like that.

The Nazis didn’t go straight to mass murder. They began with forced emigration using policies to “encourage” Jews to leave on their own. Then they tried deporting them to other countries, most notably Madagascar. That was impossible. Then they implemented “The Final Solution.”

We’re at Step 2.

The United States has officially withdrawn from the World Health Organization.

This is a shameful move that puts both Americans and people all over the world at greater risk from disease outbreaks, which require international collaboration to contain.

Most of the moral messaging in children's television programming when I was a kid was utterly uncontroversial at the time, and would be attacked as woke indoctrination today.
This is quite literally one of the stupidest human beings alive

I would question whether the state has enough material to pull off a murder conviction if the federal government has the investigation and not sharing their files. However, they easily have enough material to file charges in regards to ICE employees blocking medical aid.

"It is essentially a garden variety unjustified use of deadly force case."
