Listen. The only way you can become a good writer is by being a shitty writer and doing it anyways. You can’t magically become a good writer by having a machine do some of the work for you. That just makes you a fraud.

Meant to mention this last week, but if you have a young person in your life who’s into history or graphic novels or just good books, buy them George Takei’s “They Called Us Enemy.” My oldest couldn’t put it down.

A reminder that if the minimum wage had kept pace with worker productivity gains since the 1960s, it would now be nearly $26 an hour.

Planned Parenthood is the next to get axed. Other than abortions, it offers: contraception, STD testing/treatment, abortion, pregnancy testing, cancer screenings and HRT for menopausal women.

It’s hard to overstate how thoroughly Trump’s policies have disrupted farmers’ lives.

“It would seem like they’re trying to create fewer farms," said a farmer in Maine.

And what it could mean for rural communities as we know them.

100 men vs. 1 gorilla?

How about the working class against the oligarchy?

The upward redistribution of wealth over the past 50 years has shifted $80 trillion from the bottom 90% of Americans to the top 1%.

This is the real fight we need to be talking about.

normalize arresting Elon Musk
The reason Elon keeps doing these blatantly corrupt money giveaways to incentivize voting is because, again, no one is stopping him or holding him accountable. A democracy that refuses to do anything but assume everyone acts in good faith isn’t a democracy at all

Consider... tens, maybe hundreds of thousands of people are losing their government jobs. Jobs that may have taken up to a year to secure. They bought homes, cars, started families.

No income now to make payments or feed babies.

How does that help our economy?
