NEW from me:

The tariffs imposed on Mexico, Canada, and China today represent the largest trade restriction in modern US history, with the potential to cause massive economic harm. This is Trump's blockade of America

Mark Warner on Fox: "I may disagree with the president, but I respect the office of the president. I'm probably not gonna be jumping up applauding a lot, but I owe him his due as president. The president has made great, great progress on border crossings. That's something we ought to celebrate."

Donny you mad man, I hope your bit can convince the German Greens to agree to this.
MASSIVE FISCAL PACKAGE OUT OF BERLIN: 12-20%+ of GDP.

- 500 billion fund for public investment
- All defence spending above 1% of GDP not counted for debt brake.
- Federal states can borrow 0.35% p.y. for investment.

Germany is back - economically and militarily.

There's not a single source from the current Republican Congress in this story, which is unfortunate, because the headline suggests the author has people inside the party currently telling them about how their decisions are changing.
"even lawmakers within his party have feared for their personal safety, and at least one has told confidants that it has swayed his decision-making"

"Tillis told people that the FBI warned him about 'credible death threats' when he was considering voting against Pete Hegseth’s nomination"
“They’re Scared Shitless”: The Threat of Political Violence Informing Trump’s Grip on Congress
With the president smashing norm after norm, even lawmakers within his party have feared for their personal safety, and at least one has told confidants that it has swayed his decision-making.

Interesting thesis, but men and women are not increasingly politically polarized.
