@angelofmusic27.bsky.social's hubby. HoriZone Roundtable (@horizoneroundtable.com) head honcho. Wrote a couple of books. Broken toy. I don't like being told what side I'm on. Definitely said something that made you mad.

So, I messed up my Cleveland feed and had to start over again.

If you've given up hope that cledotcom will post up any wire story about CSU hoops, read our stuff instead!

Ah yes. Another day where AT&T decides that I'm located somewhere other than Ohio. Good to skirt Bluesky's verification crap. Not so great when my streamer switches my local channels to Not Cleveland.

Why not? It worked for Dallas!

James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

Some of you are getting way too cute with the "I didn't post it, but I'm reposting it from someone else" loophole you think exists.

It doesn't. The muting shall begin shortly.
And stop sharing Ex-Bird Site screenshots. We know those people are assholes. I don't need a daily reminder of it. Otherwise, I'd still be there.

Yeah, because the Dem base isn't scary.

I'm sorry. Did I say the quiet part out loud???
American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.

I have to break this out again, don't I?
Ah yes. Another day of being being reminded that the Dems, by and large, aren't up for the moment.

And also, another day to dream of a Progressive-Left alternative that will apparently never appear.

Maybe keeping everyone during the bye week wasn't such a great idea for the Brown.

My suspicions should have been realized a month ago. Woof.
I get a sneaky suspicion that Bubba Ventrone is going to get fired after this game.

We can get mad about this, but the thing is that the GOP will still say no to this pile of effectively nothing. Because they're terrible. And incredibly stupid.
SCHUMER is on the floor now making this offer to end the shutdown:

Clean CR
Bipartisan "minibus" of approps bills
1-year ACA funding extension
Bipartisan cmte to negotiate on health care

"This is a reasonable offer that reopens the government, deals with health care affordability."

Talk about being high on your own supply.

Imagine watching what happened in NYC on Tuesday and STILL think this is a good idea.

The GOP wants to self-immolate.

Dems shouldn't give them anything to put the fire out unless there's ACA funding restored, at the least.
News: Democrats are inclined to keep their shutdown fight going, according to multiple people familiar. Republicans are weighing a funding vote tomorrow but Democrats are leaning toward blocking it at this point without more reassurances on ACA/federal workers

Your reminder that Conde Nast is owned by Advance, Inc.

You know. The company that turned cledotcom into the smoldering mess that it became.
New: Conde Nast fired four employees who were among a group that confronted the company's head of human resources on Wednesday over the decision to fold Teen Vogue into Vogue/recent cuts. Employees who were fired included journalists from the New Yorker, Wired, and Bon Appétit.
