Our goals here, as they've been on Twitter and FB, are the same:

1. Get you to warmly embrace the Horizon League
2. Encourage the liberal use of the #HLMBB and #HLWBB tags
3. Be okay with Wright, Cleveland and Youngstown not being states
4. Reinforce that Jack Gohlke is a damned folk hero
In his latest rundown of radio show highlights, Kyle Rossi covers Chris Kielsmeier's take on Kyle Tucker signing with the Dodgers, Laurel Rockwood surviving Cleveland's winter, and opponents disrespecting Macey Fegan's shot.
CSU Courtside (January 20th)
Like a Rock Would With the temperature outside hovering around nine degrees, Vikings center Laurel Rockwood took a seat inside the Cleveland State Student Center for the second segment of Monday’s weekly radio show. Rockwood, of course, is from Henderson, NV and spent four seasons at UC Santa Barbara, so host Al Pawlowski didn’t waste a ton of time getting to the obvious issue at hand: “This really shows your commitment to basketball to Cleveland and to Cleveland State to leave that climate, which is just about ideal.

Roughly halfway through the conference schedule, the #HLWBB Power Rankings seemed to be separating into clear tiers, at least until IU Indy's upset of Youngstown State presented a counterpoint this week.
#HLWBB Power Rankings — Week 11
It was a pretty stable week for the #HLWBB Power Rankings, though IU Indianapolis' shocking upset of Youngstown State drove a bit of shuffling.

YSU Loses at Wright State on Thursday Night
The Youngstown State Penguins men's basketball team (9-10, 2-6 Horizon) couldn't weather the road storm in their 93-83 loss in a rematch against the Wright State Raiders (12-7, 7-1 Horizon), the Horizon League's first-place team, on Thursday night inside the Nutter Center. YSU beat WSU seven-consecutive times prior, and it's also the first time since 2022 that the Penguins have lost to the Raiders at the Nutter Center.
