15a. HOT BOB
2 lbs ripe peaches (clingstone)
4-5 fine diced red habaneros (or more!)
2.75c of sugar
juice of one lemon
a little grated lemon peel
a. mix it all, smash & let sit for 1 hour
b. boil for 30 minutes
c. finish with a squeeze of brown honey
d. put in jars, refrigerate and enjoy

Well, finished might be too strong a term. I still need to edit it, but … I wrote “the end” so that must mean it’s finished. Right?

I think I will do CORRIGAN’S ERRATIC MANIFEST postcards featuring the (surprisingly popular) front cover design language I used for (god knows) how many issues do I can feel like I’m putting art out into the world again and not just punching the clock until I die.

It’s a light meatball, almost airy without being eggy. Plenty of flavor. I like my meatballs with more garlic but this strikes a more popular level. In sauce it should be great. In subs it will be transcendent.
Batch two. Notes to follow. There are a total of 65 meatballs between the two.
Note I do not leave space between them. No professional meatballer does this. It wastes cooking space.

Once it’s got a little editing on it I’m going to print it and bind it for my friend as a thank for being such a supportive beta reader.
