Batch two. Notes to follow. There are a total of 65 meatballs between the two.

Note I do not leave space between them. No professional meatballer does this. It wastes cooking space.

Tomorrow, we make meatballs.

BORDERLINE x RIVERS OF LONDON

The last surviving child of a dead King.
Exiled to our world by her regicidal uncle.
Every time the Guards catch her trying to escape they take another memory of home. Soon she'll have none left.
If she succeeds, there's war.
If she fails, she's lost.

My goals are to finish book three and take another edit pass on book two. Also: I need to get my fourth book off the ground this year. I shelved the it after eleven chapters to chase my current WIP. Always hopeful and ready to go.

Both. You can’t start a journey without a map, and you can’t end one without adapting to the challenges you meet en route.

I start with characters, motivations, emotional wounds and triggers. To that I add names, settings and inciting events. Then I add twists & sidekicks.

Every now and then we have a bottle of wine so charged with good memories that we’ll have another one years later. It’s a relatively inexpensive time machine.

I’ve got two other WIPs:

1. Scifi - a former Union Navy captain is called back to duty. He has to remember what that duty was before his superiors learn what he’s forgotten.

2. Contemporary fantasy - what if that magical library was actually a prison? What would that make the Librarian?

There’s a certain terrible sameness to the language booksellers use to describe novels these days. Sad.

Brian O'Nolan (Irish: Brian Ó Nualláin; 5 October 1911 – 1 April 1966), aka Flann O'Brien aka Myles na gCopaleen, for his mad wit, his originality, his devotion, and his dedication to a pint of plain.

At-Swim-Two-Birds will never be surpassed.

Tricks for Spotting a Recipe Written by Someone Who Is Not a Cook:

1. They don’t know how long it takes to brown onions.
2. They tell you to add the onions and garlic together before you start to sauté them.

Dear Glad®️Cling’n Seal Plastic Wrap:

This instruction (see photo) is a cruel joke. It is nigh well impossible to find the leading edge of a roll of plastic wrap without some indicator of where the roll actually starts. That is all.
