I like what I tried to do with this, but I am no watercolor master so I'll just have to keep pushing myself with it.

Also, sorry I was gone for most of it, but:

Happy belated winter holidays.

And I will likely still be scarce on the internet for a month or so.
Be well.

Techbros seem to love Tolkien, so here's an analogy to help you understand what genAI is.

GenAI is The One Ring. You think your use is justified, b/c you don't have evil in your heart.

But it came from evil, it is intended for evil purpose, & anything you do with it will be twisted to that end.

This is probably the largest art I've made in a long time; it's 16x48 inches at 300dpi. All of the animals are inspired by petroglyphs and cave art from around the world on top of the shapes found within the animals themselves. #art #caveart #petroglyph #deer #wolves #ravens #raven #wolf #elk

-Started Oct. 21, 2024 for husband's birthday and 10-year anniversary of "Why did he literally move seats to sit by me???"
-Completed yesterday and delivered with homemade cookies.

(Happy two birthdays, husband. Thanks for befriending me 11 years ago.)

#SciArtSeptember 11 - Venomous

Whoops, I forgot to post this yesterday.

Cretan giant centipede (Scolopendra cretica). Though almost all endemic mammals of the Mediterranean islands are extinct, there is still numerous unique species to preserve: reptiles, arthropods, plants and so on.

Got lost in the squash with this one...
Squash bees are specialists on cucurbits, and I think that's pretty cool and niche of them.

Thanks for the love on the alligator art yesterday.
Starting tomorrow, gonna work on some of this September's prompts; hoping to return to my roots (bees) a little.
For now, another piece from the 2022 collection (6 of 30.)

Day 5 of #SciArtSeptember: Corridor
Ocelots are one animal that uses wildlife corridors in Texas to get around. This one is giant and destroying every road in its path like a cat with a roll of toilet paper though. #Art

Still debating on if I want to try and do some prompts for this year's SciArtSeptember...
While I continue to flounder with indecisiveness, here's one from the 2022 prompts (5 of 30.)
