The chancellor, Rachel Reeves, told a fossil fuel company the industry would receive a “quid pro quo” in return for higher taxes on its windfall profits, it can be revealed.

You do know why Starmer never lifted a finger for Grangemouth? It's because he did'nt have to. He did'nt have to appease the voter base, Because he did'nt need Scottish votes to become PM. He is the English Prime Minister, Therefore he needs to appeal to English voters, Scotland is an afterthought.
