My worry is republicans will slow the mail purposely to disavow those votes if this passes
🚨BREAKING: The Supreme Court agrees to hear a case that would decide whether mail-in ballots postmarked by Election Day but received after should be counted. A ruling for Republicans could upend mail voting, potentially disenfranchising large numbers of voters.

Republicans sued to block California’s newly-approved pro-redistricting measure, arguing the state violated the 14th and 15th Amendments by drawing congressional districts that “favor Hispanic voters.” They asked the court to invalidate the map.

Unfortunately I am here to tell you: it's time to worry about what the Supreme Court is going to do to mail ballots postmarked by election day that arrive after election day, in states across the country. This could be enormous.

Two-thirds of California's power comes from clean energy.

For 9 in 10 days so far this year, we were 100% powered for some part of the day by clean energy.

I respect Senator Tim Kaine, though I am not a Virginia resident. I have followed him since he was Hillary’s running mate. A good Dem friend of mine is a personal friend of Kaine’s and says there is no one better. I don’t know the other signatories. But I trust Kaine.

I won’t jump off the ledge.

Black American soldiers literally dug these WWII graves. Traumatic. To acknowledge that fact at a cemetery they helped construct is something the Heritage Foundation cannot accept. As Veterans Day approaches, never forget that this country both compels and disrespects Black military service. Always.
1/ The US Government has quietly removed a memorial to Black soldiers who died in World War II from the Netherlands American Cemetery in Margraten, South Limburg. The move follows a complaint from the right-wing Heritage Foundation to the American Battle Monuments Commission. ⬇️
