so I got Final Draft running on the Macintosh SE I picked up at this weekend’s SoCal Vintage Computer Festival.

I can now write a screenplay on the SE and save it to my modern Mac with the floppy disk adapter I have, open the file in modern final draft, and submit it for work

Here are the classic Macs I am showing at #vcfsocal this weekend. Both feature the 32-bit 68030 CPU although the Mac Classic II only has a 16-bit data bus (doh!). Both feature an internal BlueSCSI emulated hard drive #retrocomputing #macintosh #apple #Mac #bluescsi

We are currently shipping preorders for the BlueSCSI Ultra and Ultra Wide. Our website will soon change to "IN STOCK" rather than preorder for the Ultra range (except the SCA version). Exciting, since these are the first BlueSCSI Ultra's to go into the wild 👌

I am passing along praise for the great work of @eric.scsi.blue and his team that continue to make the @bluescsi.com a wonder.

I’ve used almost every iteration, and the innovation, documentation, support, and overall attention to detail are superb.

My vintage Macs love their BlueSCSIs!

Flaccid Ostrich is a Floppy Emu compatible clone, built to be buildable with only THT components (or with a very limited number SMD parts at worst)!

I designed the case for this thing and I've been playing with a development unit and it's going to take the whole vintage PC space by storm. Best thing since the gotek in my book. So much more flexible than using compact flash cards. Plus using it as a CD-ROM drive opens up so many possibilities!

Finishing things up for #PicoIDE and it just about saturates the IDE bus in MWDMA mode 2. I’m pretty happy with this! It tests as fast as a 74x CD-rom drive which means there’s a bit more headroom in that mode but that could be the CPU on this K6-2 system being a bottleneck.

Powerbook 170 from 1991 that wouldn’t turn on anymore. Battery was rebuilt using rechargeable NiMH cells, screen was remounted, and the hard disk was replaced with a BlueSCSI.
Now take a look at that!
