Tuesday at 2:30PM EST we're going to finish up the FM Towns II UG20 saga so I can get it back to its owner. There's still one floppy drive to service and I'll show how I modified a 72pin SIMM and got a BlueSCSI to work with the machine.

Playing around with adding BlueSCSI Toolbox protocol support to DingusPPC. Though somewhat roundabout, the end result is that you can transfer files in and out of more emulated machine types on Infinite Mac. As a bonus, it also makes the Macintosh Garden library […]

Alright! Booted BasilsikII (on 7.5.3), made a 20mb DSK file. Turned it to an HDA file and tossed that on my BlueSCSI so I could copy Microsoft Works to my SE! This is so cool

My opinion, for what's worth, is that folks should feel free to add in modern digital electronics if it helps. Be it a BlueSCSI on a classic Mac, a display, or a sensor. There really aren't rules, just some people's opinions.

I like keeping classic IBM PCs alive with boards that use modern hardware

I got a Macintosh Quadra 950 video editing computer at VCFMW, but I haven't opened it up. Since @mac84.bsky.social 's latest stream, I'm worried that the battery leaked. Let's pop it open Wednesday at 3:30 eastern and back up the harddrive with BlueSCSI initiator mode. youtube.com/live/oA7H7Tt...

This weekend I implemented command passthrough to #PicoIDE over SMART Command Transport (which is done via creative use of the SMART log get/set commands). This way you can get status of the PicoIDE, load disc/disk images, etc., and being implemented with SMART means it works in user mode in Windows
