Our broadband is back up and running again. I think the person who unplugged us at the patch cabinet up the street either realised he'd disconnected us or someone kicked his ass and made him fix it haha. Years ago, being without service was a royal pain, but now with 5G it's not half as bad.

We've had fibre to the property for about three years now and never had a problem. At lunch, it's just died. I work from home so I'm tethering but I only get 200GB. The earliest we can get an engineer is next Wednesday. Looks like we're going to be caining my partners unlimited plan....

The curse of retro has arisen again! So much for making another short today. My Aladdin floppy disks for DOS appear to be borked as do my Lion King disks. Trying to do a scan disk on one of the Lion King ones to see if that can help. Stupid fragile old media.

I have enjoyed being in Germany with the exception of the cold weather. It has been below freezing the whole time we have been here and today I’d had enough. I couldn’t get warm. Tonight is going to be -12C We’re heading home to 9C tomorrow. It will be positively tropical by comparison!

We went to Lidl to get a few bits for the room. We walked out after spending €40 mostly on sweets and chocolates I haven’t had for years lol.

I didn’t bring my MacBook Pro to Germany with us, instead I brought my iPad Pro with my Logitech keyboard and touchpad folio. So far I’m enjoying the multitasking but I have to keep reminding myself that this is NOT macOS. Which it totally could run

We made it to the hotel but man the flight SUCKED. It was two hours late, the waiting around wasn’t great and there was no space on the seats. HATED it

Currently sat at Birmingahm Airport waiting to find out what our gate is for our flight to Berlin. Can’t say I’m looking forward to it. Today has been rough.

Of course Panasonic put the CMOS battery under the motherboard meaning a complete disassembly to be able to replace it. I mean why wouldn’t you make things a million times more difficult than it needs to be?

Back to work today after three weeks off (bereavement leave) and I thought I was doing OK. Been a bif of a mess a couple of times today but I'm making progress! I didn't cry on the phone to the bloke I just spoke to!

So far this year I've made 5 shorts in three days. I've scheduled the next two to go live tomorrow and Monday. I'm hoping it might boost my viewership a little in-between the long form videos.
