I love the way they have the acronym but then have to explain what it means...

Ours is Droid 6 - that's my partners nickname from work.

Same - when I lived with my sister, our SSID was PIE!!! Lol. Don't ask me why.

I realised that the colour of the menu bar on my PowerBook G4 had a little red in it and that's OK!! It's _supposed_ to be like that! I've been trying to track down a none existent issue, or an issue of my own making!! I'm still not happy with the amount of green but it's way better than it was!

So I started messing with the RGB values. It hadn't occurred to me before to open up a screenshot from another Mac to compare the colour of say the menu bar, no I was eye balling it. I got something that looked grey that I was pleased with, but white was a bit green. After opening up a screenshot...

A really helpful chap on Discord was helping me try to dial in the settings on the OSSC and I learned a lot, including what the clock and phase was - something I didn't understand on my original scaler. So once I got that dialled in, I started working on the colour. The image was always too pink.

So I can't use it at boot. It is fantastically posh and can do things like capture over HTTP, but it doesn't do what I want it to do. So back to the drawing board. I bought an OSSC which has amazing image quality, but requires far too much hand holding. So today I've gone back to my old VGA scaler

Did you leave your old router with your providers name/SSID? That's always the first thing I used to change. That way you don't need to go round changing stuff. Also I hate the way they're listed like 'PLUSNET-2GW8' or whatever. No my SSID is what *I* want it to be!

So far this laptop has cost me £18 😆

I was watching this docking station for a while and got an offer for £10 so naturally I had to buy it. But it didn’t appear to work - it didn’t push the pin down to allow me to slide the dock slider over. Turns out I’m stupid and I was doing it wrong.

I knew holding onto my 2x512MB DDR2 sticks of RAM from my old MacBook would pay one day!!

Wonder how long it will be before Apple gets them to pull the plug.

It boots! BeOS sees it too! Rhapsody is testing my patience.

I forgot to mention this: it's a Twin Turbo 128+ PCI graphics card for a Power Macintosh 8600/9600. I removed the VRAM on the motherboard and installed this and....
