BlueSCSI is an open source, open hardware, and open design SCSI solution for vintage computers. It’s designed to replace a SCSI hard drive inside of your vintage computer or device, but it can also do so much more!

BlueSCSI Toolbox 1.0.2 released:
Fix issue with 0 byte files
Fix issue with logo not appearing sometimes
Fix apps not quitting on shutdown
Fix handling file names exactly 32 chars long

Notable non-code feature is BlueSCSI Toolbox now works in the Snow Emulator - I used it to prep this release!

User came on Discord today complaining how hard it was to configure RAW mode on BlueSCSI - they were right! So I automated it all.

Seems samplers users like the RAW partitioned SD workflow instead of images.

This also allows you to pop in a SCSI2SD card into your BlueSCSI for a easy upgrade.

Next we have Mac84 benchmarking his PowerMac getting 15.6MB/sec using a 2940W PCI SCSI card! BluesSCSI v2 with a Pico 1

Here we see @jokker115.bsky.social SGI O2 maxing out around 16.82MB/sec on a BlueSCSI v2 fitted with a Pico2, which is pretty great real world performance on a 20MB/sec FAST20 bus. If you have an early/mid 90’s workstation, BlueSCSI v2 with a Pico 2

Did you know #BlueSCSI powered Street Fighter 3 Third Strike on the #CPS3 systems at the Evo Championships tournament in Las Vegas last year?

Was awesome to see BlueSCSI at such a *huge* event!

Some pics from Brian of paradisearcadeshop.com of the setup and custom BlueSCSI silk screen.

Need a #MARCHintosh 2025 project? I have a batch of 2 tone multi color DB25 kits and assembled #BlueSCSI ready to go.

Use MARCHINTOSH25-FREESHIP to get them in time!

How does this #BlueSCSI case look?

Playing with multiple filiment printing on the bambu, think this looks pretty sweet!

Thanks to @javmaster.bsky.social for the model and @gutbomb.net for help with the retool for good looking multi color print! Mouse pad is by @mac84.bsky.social

Got the Pico2w's in the mail, and now we have it running! One minor issue and a bit of cleanup and it'll be on github soon!

Congrats to the Raspberry Pi foundation on the release of the Pico 2 W (Wi-Fi)!

#BlueSCSI already runs on the Pico 2- and I just ordered 5 to test and validate WiFi works on these new boards.

Don't rush out and get a Pico2W for your BlueSCSI - not much to gain yet - but stay tuned!

Here's the same in Initiator mode - you can run arbitrary SCSI commands against a target for a more fine grained and forensic investigation on how your SCSI device works.

Very advanced feature but will give people imaging/archiving retro SCSI devices a lot more power with an inexpensive #BlueSCSI

Sneak peek at a console into your BlueSCSI - these are advanced feature for sure but is the groundwork for some cool stuff planned to allow more remote configuration and management of your #BlueSCSI

Currently allows you to: Eject, Disable, List, Toggle Settings, Reboot

Any more ideas? (1/2)
