Also, If most of your posts are political I won't follow you & I'll seldom repost, reply or like them. I'm VERY informed & worried about our future, but I come here to get away from that crap.

I love The Beach Boys, but their music from this period is worthless crap, especially the very juvenile "Love You" lp.

A big WOW from me too! I've never charged for reviews either. If an artist sends me something & I don't care for it I just don't bother to write about it. I don't want to ruin somebody's career. While I may not like certain music another person may think it's the greatest thing they've ever heard.
Shocked by this but guess I’m naive. Need to add ‘HQ does not charge for album reviews’ alongside my ‘HQ does not use AI’ disclaimer 😳
It's hard enough for independent artists and festivals to make it in music. Now that wealthy artists and events can just pay for press coverage, it makes the playing field even more unequal.

I'm like you. If you look at my pinned post under my profile you'll see that I don't follow people who mostly post about politics. Currently, I watch the morning news shows & then keep myself busy, or I'd go nuts. On 1 TV one station even the commercials are political now. I can't get away from it.
My blood pressure shot up to 186/95 yesterday, due to looking at the news of the murder by ICE. I’m going to have to step away from it, even tho I want to be informed. The rage is too much right now. 😢 #ICE

I never saw him live, but I'm convinced Frampton must have been a great live act. I've listened to his studio albums & they each have a few good songs & a bunch of filler. I was never excited by them. On this LP he really put all of his best songs together with his fine voice and excellent ax work.
from the movie Wayne's World: "if you lived in the suburbs you were issued it. It came in the mail like boxes of Tide"
50 years ago today.

Released today 6th January 1976, one of the greatest live albums ever "Peter Frampton Comes Alive!"
