After looking at all previous efforts for a site as impactful as this needs to be, I have been working on making this a possibility & importantly have learning paths around it too

So

So
Much that I wanna get out there for all you awesome PowerShellers

Because the PowerShell community is awesome
Sometime between now & April 4th, the new PowerShell.org.uk website will be deployed & oh it will be a great site that will look to showcase all things PowerShell in/from the UK & show you all what a really simple, but effective & accessible site can be.

This is a promise by @blog.kilasuit.org

"accidentally"

Nah it was likely coded to do so of it saw something it didn't like.

Also bad on the professor for not having any form of backups at all.

I've written a blogpost about using #Pester and #PowerShell to scan your #PowerPlatform solutions with a #AzureDevOps pipeline! If #GitHub Advanced #Security is to expensive but you do want to find #Secrets then this is your #Solution!

This blogpost describes how you can user PowerShell and Pester to scan your Power Platform solution files for secrets. Add it together in an Azure DevOps pipeline for a fully automated process!

This is interesting but, no, sorry, I don't think this is what we actually need at all.

Talk about over engineering things for the sake of it.

Remember, bigger & more complex things are much harder to adopt and secure & this just to me just ain't worth the time or effort to play with.
Proud to have helped create @standard.site along side @leaflet.pub (@awarm.space) and @pckt.blog (@brookie.blog). The protocol is better because of the people building on it and using it every day! 🚀

I love #PowerShell & have a real dislike for #JavaScript

Should I write a blog post about why all things JavaScript & #TypeScript should not currently be used at all for any infrastructure let alone critical systems like CI/CD tooling

This is a little fun #pwshQuirk #PowerShell #Quirks

See the full thread for more info
Sorry correction, ${} is `Get-Content` and not `Get-Item`. What's fun is you can use other providers like `${C:\some\path\file.txt}` to get the file content. Assigning is the same as `Set-Content`.

more proof that google isn't really in it for your privacy or safety or security & only wants to profit of off the data it can mine from you.

yeah some good things have come from google but more and more it seems we'd have been better off without what they have brought us

Well I did write an article about #ThePowerOfSwearing which if I hadn't fucked up again with Domain Renewals for @mhasl.me then you could be reading that and the #Science behind it right now.

Which means I need to add to the list to setup parallel site deployments when I get time

I really like the custom / #AltIcons shared in this thread.

It's also worth pointing out you can also apply custom icon in Windows & can do so quite easily with some PowerShell too

Think I may have to make use of some of these
last week i remembered that macOS lets you set your own icons and that *I* have the power to delegitimize the professionalism of the software that runs on my machine, so here's a thread of the 16 new icons i've made so far

i really forgot how fun it was to just sit down and make art for myself :')
