Ch-ch-ch-changes!
A topdown pixel art remake of Ruin Valley, from Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen. Many ancient structures can be seen emerging from the steep cliffsides and lush tropical vegetation: temples, tall palaces and mysterious pathways and towers. A moltitude of pokemon and trainers can be seen around. To the east, the ocean with tall waves and a jagged coastline. Water and fossil pokemon live there. At the center of the valley, the legendary pokemon trainer Red is entering the Dotted Hole ruins. Peculiar rock formation resembling regi pokemon are scattered throughout the environment. A collection of tiny pixel art pokemon scenes, featuring: 1. Chinchou swimming under the waves 2. Lanturn jumping above the waves at night 3. Corsola on the seafloor 4. Horsea in a cave underwater 5. Seadra in a kelp forest 6. Kingdra among whirlpools 7. Swinub at home, sleeping on a carpet 8. Piloswin taking a bath in hot springs 9. Mamoswine traversing a snowstorm 10. Cleffa hovering in space 11. Three Clefairy dancing at Mt. Moon Crater 12. Clefable in the middle of a pond, looking at the stars 13. Porygon in a strange labyrinth 14. Porygon2 running on a mobius strip 15. Porygon-Z floating in an old screensaver 16. Bonsly sitting on the porch as the rain starts to fall 17. Sudowood taking shelter from heavy rain in a mountain cave 18. Mew looking at the viewer through fish-eye lens 19. Sunkern floating in a summer meadow 20. Sunflora basking in the sunlight over a sunflower field 21. Celebi flying through Ilex Forest An animated top down pixel art diorama of a Haunted Mansion main hall. The gothic architecture is the perfect playground for the many ghost pokemon inhabiting the abandoned house. Right in the middle of the foyer, a megaevolved Chandelure welcomes unfortunate visitors with its blue flames flickering gently as the moonlight seeps through a hole in the roof, lighting the ruined pavement in a cold light. A solitary mimikyu joins the foyer, dragging its disguise across the western wing passage. A duskull levitates below the balcony, disappearing through rich, old and dusty drapes. The East Wing corridor is blocked by Gourgeis and Pumpkaboo, with their dim, warm lanterns mimicking the many candles and chandeliers scattered around the mansion. Could they be the very ones lighting them up? The monumental staircase leads to the first floor, were the balcony oversees the whole entrance room, forming a U-shape. To the left, leading to the western wing first floor, a Lampent shines atop an archway. To the East, a Dusclops waits in the shadows. At the very center of the balcony, Gengar is doing all kinds of silly faces, laughing at the viewer, right before disappearing. A litwick has found its nest in a small alcove by the two-story wooden doorway arch. Onboth sides of the doorway, many paintings with rich frames are hung. To the left, a Mismagius is showcasing its psychic powers to Misdreavus by taking control of a huge painting of Agatha, the famous elite 4. The shaking painting's eyes shine briefly in an ominous light. On the second story of the archway a Dusknoir briefly appears. An Ariados can be seen coming down its web through the gothic archs. Under the dark roof atop the whole scene, Haunter and Gastly are playing hide and seek. A huge hole in the roof lets the moonlight rays enter the Hall. Through the very same opening, zubats and a drifloon can be seen flying. A top down pixel art of the Going Merry Ship from One Piece, sailing calmly through the waves. The Strawhat jolly roger waves gently at the very top of the mainmast. A Palestine flag waves atop the rear mast, where a red, white and green sail is also found right below. Many green, red, white and black triangular flags are tied to the ropes all around. The crew can be spotted all around: Sanji is looking at a watermelon crate, possibly thinking of new recipes. Tony Tony Chopper is strolling happily down the staircase in the deck. Zoro is taking a nap at the bottom of the main mast. Nico Robin is relaxed, leaning on the main central deck railing and watching the waves, with a book by her side. Nami is looking towards the horizon from the bow deck where Usopp can be found as well, busy with ship's reparations. Luffy is sitting atop the sheep figurehead, with his arms stretched, hugging the giant watermelon he is enthusiastically eating.

Box art for Critical Role's Mighty Nein CLUE(DO). The Mighty Nein walk down a dark alley, surrounded by mysterious shadows. Nott and Jester sit at the front, looking at the viewer while investigating some sort of mystery. I experimented with Blender and using 3D for the initial composition for this piece. It depicts a "new born" Keeper, a tall creature made of wood, coming out of their birthing pit. It has multiple heads and a wheel-like piece on it's back, that it's still ticking to the pit green slimy contents. Helping it coming out are two Kynda, these are smaller, woodland creatures. The one in front has leafy hair and flowing clothing. battle scene featuring the cast and characters from Friday Nights, fighting off a giant slimy version of the Simic Slaw A fantasy-themed promotional image for the Kickstarter campaign "Fen's Guide to Myriad Realms". The cover is featuring the traveler Fen, in a dark blue cloak holding a staff, surrounded by their swirling magical flame companion "Flicker". The background is a vivid, fantastical landscape with swirling skies, gnarled trees, a mysterious castle and glowing light.

I usually approach these portraits for Destiny Spire the same way, sketch out the full thing with a big brush as quick as possible, then start refining. Starting out I try to avoid using black in the face, just a light and shadow color…

An old korrigan (Britton elf?), who is roughly the size of the crow, is chilling on the shoulder of the mech. in the cockpit, three little korrigans are playing. On the ground, from right to left : 2 little korrigans are drawing children drawing on the mech, standing on the root of the tree the robot is resting on. One is sleeping in the driver helmet, while 2 others are scheming to wake them up using big nails as hammers on the helmet. A lil korrigan with a big net is trying to catch a lullaby. Two korrigans are offering a group of snails a safe travel amongst the mayhem. One is looking at small mushrooms on a root covered by moss. Another is trying to pull a red small mushroom from the ground. Under the robot, two korrigans are trying to pull what appears to be a radioactive battery out of a small pond of water. Two korrigans are using one of the doors of the cockpit as a swing. One of them is looking slightly up, seemingly surprised. One is hopping out of the canon of the mech, looking into the same direction. Another one is playing with rocks along the river, also looking surprised. On the tree, a small dragon that mostly looks like a lizard with wings and a long neck is climbing. A korrigan is climbing after it, trying to catch it. And the last korrigan is sitting on one of the roots of the tree, looking at the dragon too. In the distance, in a hole on the tree, a grumpy owl is looking at the spectacle.
