I take my community responsibility seriously. I’m the friend who will share important petitions in the group chat. We truly can fight fascism, and build a better world for all of us to thrive in. I believe this. So I try very hard to participate in the work to make it happen.

lol, also on a more serious note, not sure how I feel about naming coffee drinks in that way. like what would the dark skin latte be?? 🧐
I went to a black owned coffee shop in atlanta today and the latte flavor combination i wanted was called the light skin but i got really scared to ask for it because im filipino and just asked for a regular unsweetened latte instead

Mamdani pulled together a diverse coalition of voters on a political message of economic populism and affordability.

But it's not just Albany who may stand in Zohran's way—it's also Wall Street.

Some thoughts on Wall Street's grip on municipal finance.

We've organized nine former tenants — all of whom were pushed out by the fifth largest corporate landlord in the country, Equity Residential — to withhold their back-rent debt payments. Collectively.

That's right, we're on debt-strike. Introducing the EQR-9.

If Democrats want to take economic populism seriously, they would be talking about broad-scale medical debt relief, wide-spread student debt relief, and rent-control + tenant protections. People's largest bill every month is usually rent. If not rent, probably a debt payment.

An incredible victory. Trump’s stop-order was incredibly harmful to everyday people— we deserve to have affordable, CLEAN energy. I don’t want to poison my baby while I heat or cool my home. Please and thanks!

I don't think pointing out the fascists' 'hypocrisy' is a good use of time. It's not hypocrisy, it's hierarchy. They actually do believe that they have the right and obligation to dominate you because they are superior to you. They are using their power not being hypocritical.

We have an impressive amount of work to do in fighting for our freedoms folks. Don't give up hope. Don't cede to fascism. Don't allow despair to swallow you up. That's what they want. Feel our feels, yes — and then we gotta get up and work to protect all the people.

"Effective narrative change happens with communities not to communities" -- so much in this sentence, it expresses who are the participants, who is leading and how to go about building a transformational campaign.
In a narrative strategy webinar, and it is rich with info and reminders that we are much more than how we show up! We are a collection of deeply-rooted and held beliefs that shape who we are. And to support people making critical shifts in belief, narrative frames support that work.
