We depend on it for reading materials of course, but also we rely on it as a free space to gather community members, to connect with folks, to use the computers and printers — things that’s aren’t available to everyone at their home. Also, as a parent, I use the library as a safe place for my child to have fun and connect with other kids. Please invest in this critical resource by giving us half a percent of the overall city budget. This is an investment that pays dividends.
