I stepped out my front door to put out food for the feral cats, and I see Norm the orange cat sit up where he’s been sleeping.
“Hi handsome!” I say.
And just then one of my neighbors jogs past my house and waves at me.
So anyway I have to move.

Also sometimes people just don’t wanna drink alcohol on a particular occasion but do wanna drink tasty things and it is nice to have some options other than water and lukewarm mixers
Note for the upcoming holiday season,,, some of us are on a sobriety journey and mocktails or non-alcoholic beer options make a big difference 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

I feel like "May God damage your house" is an unwise thing to say to HR in any language
Idioms are all over the place and when you see idioms from another language translated literally they don't make a lot of sense. This is Arabic translated literally (probably by machine translation). It's fascinating how idiom and metaphor are an intrinsic part of #language #linguistics
