One of the best to ever do it
the writing was on the wall for a while, but it’s still sad to see Supervive live service end. it was my first foray into BR/top-down action gaming and i had a lot of fun with it. i’ll be keeping an eye out for theorycraft’s next project. hopefully they still have the runway to make it happen.

I think a big thing I struggle with, and something that is an important thing for people of my generation to attempt to understand, is separating toxic nostalgia from knowledge of the actual ways in which American life has gotten appreciably worse in my lifetime
it’s so weird to look around and realize like, tech and media are materially worse than a decade ago

there's so much travel advice available on the internet now, and yet no one prepares you for all the cookie pop-ups when you visit the EU.

one thing I don't think the major AI-for-code boosters acknowledge enough is how many of them (Armin, Simon, antirez) have their most successful projects as (mostly) single-person operations "specific OSS tool" is cool, but it's not "all software dev"
