Even role-reversal au fic usually keep Lestat as comfortable with his sexuality, so I was trying to imagine what might make sense for a repressed Lestat: maybe amnesia up to when he was a priest? He’s gotta be helped/taught how to live as a vampire & Louis is basically Fleabag. 🤣

Interview with the Vampire for me is the sleeper hit of the 2020s to date. Sam Reid, Jacob Anderson, Bailey Bass, Delainey Hayles, Assad Zaman, and Eric Bogosian are a simply phenomenal ensemble.
