Hello. Still without necessary IT and health issues mean I may have to leave the county long before I would wish. However, I am still filling notebooks and hope to be able to restart an intermittent service at some point soon. I am also discussing how best to make Hookland permanently available.

OK #SpeirGorm this is a big one. The public consultation for "Grow College Green" is open from now until March 11. Have your say! This will radically reshape the heart of Dublin City and this is our once-in-a-generation chance to make it great for everyone!

Swarms of large, amalgamated snowflakes fly past the porch well into mid-morning. When the wind drops for a few seconds, they hover nearly motionless, as if awaiting orders.

Great poems are often born of discomfort. When Matsuo Basho was journeying to the province of Dewa, he had to take shelter in a humble gatekeeper's house while it rained for three days. He wrote:

fleas and lice in my bed
a horse is taking a piss
right by my pillow

Forgetfulness, from Shearsman Books.

In its tragicomic navigation of different forms of loss, Forgetfulness moves from the allegorical to the abstract lyric, through to the surreal-absurd, & finally to a series of splintered memories….

I haven't read the book, and I probably won't, but I may well go to see the film, so forgive this question from a place of ignorance. Does Hamnet acknowledge Joyce's "Scylla and Charybdis" chapter at all?
