This weekend I will be publishing another book of poetry to Internet Archive. This one is short, not much longer than a chapbook.

This is an excellent piece. Very interesting on pricing.

It often feels like there are more book writers than book readers/buyers. Small presses that ask you to buy a book from them in order then to be able to query them have cottoned on to that.
What's the difference between vanity publishing and hybrid publishing? How can you find a "good" hybrid publisher?
These questions are not straightforward to answer.

If you're considering any kind of paid publishing arrangement, hybrid or otherwise, I encourage you to read this Q&A with David Wilk

Hello @hool415.bsky.social Ju. I’ve cobbled something together for your #PoemsAbout #WorkingLove though it’s more prosaic than poetic. Anyway, see if you can make any sense of it. A true love story! #poetry #poetrycommunity

For those lucky to have the means for gifts, mindful spending is power.

Do we need more stuff, or could we spend instead on causes that need support?

We don’t stop billionaires by pouring more money into their pockets. Collectively, we can shift the holiday spend to small business.

Just imagine.
