So... yesterdays ride, 20km in zone 4, 30km in zone 2, and I feel like it was a rest day.

Holy shit, a bike that actually fits comfortably makes higher volume so much easier.

I definitely should have grabbed some clips from the side. Tomorrow's ride, if I remember

Chat GPT might actually be useful

Our lovely Siamese x Bengal boy likes to spray in the house. A lot. He’s gorgeous but I hate our house smelling of cat piss

My husband asked Chat GPT to be an animal psychologist and told it all about our cats issues

We were told to shut away anything 1/

Went for a reflexology session in someone’s house today

She has a female cat called Gary. Hard to express how much I love this

Having someone play with your feet for an hour also rocks

If you live around Delaware and that Giant or Trek you got sold just doesn't feel right, pop over the river and hit up Halter's Cycles in New Jersey, they do proper bike fits!
Tough times for bike shops in the US right now.
Here's an impassioned plea from the owner of one of the best stores in the tri-state area, if not the USA...

What do people think we do in WCs? We go behind a closed door and use the loo in private

I expect we’ll see less shared space changing rooms in the future. But 99% have the option of a private cubical

1 pool near me has done away with male/female changing rooms, just cubicles. Works for everyone
This will be horrific if it goes through

“you look a bit like a man, prove you’re not!”

Are we going to be asking people to pull their pants down, before they can use the bathroom?

Wow! Free bikes trial schemes in 3 areas showed a 12x returning investment.
Reduced expected cases of disease by 16% and deaths by 6%.
What a win. We should be rolling these schemes to all deprived neighbourhoods.

You can tell how much safer cycling on London roads are becoming, by the number of people riding with dogs in their front baskets

I’ll post a pic as soon as I get one

Does anyone ride a Soma bike? They look great, especially for people with longer legs than torso. I’ve never ridden one though and would appreciate some feedback

An absolute pleasure working with @highpoh.bsky.social

3000km a year, commuting and weekend riding. You’re a proper cyclist

Also one of the most funny and delightful people I’ve had in my studio, and the lovely funny client field is strong
Thank you to Kate @bikefit.bsky.social for my bike fit. Should have done that years ago for all I "just" commute and bimble about to eat cake at weekends.

Thank you also to the gents at London Bike Studio for setting up my new handlebars. What with that and the bike fit it's almost New Bike Day!
