As a father and fan of the game, the Technoblade reference in the Minecraft movie just about broke me. Kudos to Sebastian Hansen (Henry) for the idea to include it. I absolutely loved the movie but that made it even better for me.

Gonna keep saying this: In the 1840s, Southerners insisted that they could kidnap any person they alleged was a slave without any state or federal process. This turned even minimal process into resistance and raised the salience of the issue, which radicalized a bunch of people against slavery.
Friendly reminder:

Due process is how we can be sure the people Miller and his henchmen are removing are legally subject to removal in the first place.

I heard there was a secret ooze
It turned four turtles into dudes
But you don't really care for pizza, do ya?

They fought like this,
Two swords, a stick
A couple sai
Some nunchuck tricks
Those Ninja boys-a callin

Easiest way to get my support is to highlight your desire to overturn Citizens United. We'd be much further from this mess if that was the case. I hope to see more new faces (where I can vote!) prioritizing this. www.katforillinois.com

It seem insane for a US Senator to say we've all been subjected to "a relentless bombardment of Marxist propaganda." But what he means by this is 1) there was a Burger King ad with an interracial couple and 2) Star Wars Episodes VII-IX had a female lead.

100%! Not once have I denied my staff a request to take PTO. Not once. They work hard, they earn that time, and if I want them to be good workers I *need* them to use it. I don't care what they do with it, just step away and come back refreshed.
Take that PTO. Even if you do nothing but eat cereal and stare at a wall, take that PTO.

This is dumb. There's not a lot of genetic diversity in the commercial breeding flocks, which means you won't see much in the way of natural immunity. These birds are bred to either grow very fast and big (meat) or lay a lot of eggs as fast as possible. That's it.

Kinda stoked. I just ordered a button making press machine thingy, so now I can immortalize all of my 5 yr old's random little drawings -- like this bird-eating spider about to devour a clearly deceased blue bird -- into wearable art.

They're called public records for a reason. Starting today, WIRED will *stop paywalling* articles that are primarily based on public records obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, becoming the first publication to partner with @freedom.press to offer this for our new coverage.
Wired is dropping paywalls for FOIA-based reporting. Others should follow
As the administration does its best to hide public records from the public, Wired magazine is stepping up to help stem the secrecy

The Department of Justice was created in 1870 with an explicit mission to protect civil rights and enforce the 13th, 14th and 15th Amendments.

The DOJ went after the Klan hard, securing thousands of indictments and 600+ convictions within the first year alone.

How about restoring *that* focus?
Leavitt: "We want to restore the Department of Justice to an institution that focuses on fighting law and order."
