my hot take on the opening of cv 2 is that it feels worse than the first one?
like a souls game where environment/dungeon design seems less interesting than before is not a strong opener

This rule just FAILED 214-217. Republican leaders delayed the vote by hours and held it open for an extended time — to no avail. Don Bacon, Kevin Kiley and Thomas Massie voted no, with all Democrats.
The "rule" on the floor today contains this section. Essentially Speaker Johnson is asking the House to vote to prohibit itself from voting on revoking Trump's tariffs through at least July. An extension of what Republicans have previously acceded to. Unclear it'll pass again.

As a user affected by the Australian rollout: they're lying about pre-verification. Every Australian Discord user with whom I regularly interact is over 30, but we were still all required to verify
Discord is already starting to walk things back a little, so people should keep doing what they're doing (cancel Nitro, leave feedback/criticism, direct contact through support tickets/phone/email/etc)

'fulltime employment' in this industry with at-will is really just project contracting 2, but they don't have to pay you overtime and they avoid any state contracting laws
the story used to be 'well you don't get paid hourly but you get job security' and that is just not even close to true anymore
